I went for a mammogram at three weeks ago, they were friendly, professional and made me feel completely at ease.

Excellent Care
I recently had cause to attend The Jarvis Centre in Guildford. The whole experience was amazing. The staff were so kind and friendly, the centre itself is clean and equipped to the highest standard and I never felt rushed or anxious. All questions were answered before I asked them as the staff are so experienced and in the space of just over 2 hours I had a whole range of tests done followed by a welcome cup of tea! Everything was appreciated from the comfortable temperature in the waiting room to the cleanliness to the warm open friendly staff to the top of the range equipment right through to the fact that while you wait you never hear a phone ring at reception maintaining the calm atmosphere that is typical of the whole centre. There are a lot of places that could learn a great deal from how The Jarvis Centre is run.

Communication could be improved
What is said to a patient whilst under the stress of having your breasts manhandled by the Radiographer is very important. To be told that having droopy breasts does not help the procedure is not what I wanted to hear.
